There is nothing easier to train than a Caspian. They have a naturally easy
temperament, with confidence and a willingness to try whatever you want from
them. They are OUTSTANDING jumpers!
Currently, we have no horses available that are trained. Our trained horses sell before they come home from the trainer, literally.
We can help you pick out a good candidate to put under saddle and can probably make arrangements with our trainer. Price is $550 per month and they typically take 45-60 days to be solid at walk, trot and canter, and going over small jumps.
Horses already sold this year are backed by dark green. The ones
still available are in lighter green.

BR Tara
Grey
DOB: March 6, 1999
Height: 11.2
Sire: Marida Manzel
Dam: DArkhorse Tiram
Sale Price: $7,500
Tara was put under saddle and trained in the basics this year. She was raised at a camp for handicapped riders, so she does not have a lot of finesse, but she is unflappable and the basis of a great kids' companion is all there. She does still occasionally invade your space, but can be managed quite well. She has the interesting distinction of having many curly horse traits of tightly curled mane and tail and forelock. She had a gorgeous filly April 27, 2007. Her filly is included in her purchase price until weaned on September 27, 2007.

Jael Cheragh Crake
Chestnut with blaze and hind sock
DOB: April 28, 2002
Height: 11.5
Sire: Runnymede Karamat
Dam: Marida Cheragh
Price: $5,000
Jael is the only trained Caspian that I know of that is available. And
what a beauty she is. She has the same metallic sheen that her father,
Karamat, is known for -- it is nearly blinding in the sunlight, but very
hard to photograph. Jael is a striking combination of English import father
and Australian import mother.
Jael has been under professional training and is now ready for the right
child to take her to any kid's limit. She is capable and steady with walk,
trot and canter and over low jumps. With the typical sweet and clever
Caspian temperament, we expect her to go far. Don't miss this if you are
still looking for a young Caspian already started for you at a bargain price.
Contact Maridelle Crake at mcrake@ktc.com or call her in
Kerrville Texas at 830-257-2735.

Henden Bhalla
Bay
DOB: August 8, 1998
Height: 12
Sire: Forstals Barewa
Dam: Henden Inshalla
Price: 10,000
Bhalla is our new rising star. His training is going better than
we had ever hoped. He can be ridden with no reins, with just hand
signals and verbal commands. His walk, trot and canter are quite
distinctive and comfortable. He is sensitive and alert at the same
time. His long legs and elegant head carriage will serve him well
in the show ring or on the trials.
Bhalla is also starting his jumping career. He easily handles
verticle and cross bar jumps. We expect that he is fully capable of
taking a middle child to very impressive levels. We will have ridden
photos soon so you can see just how much fun he is.
